<p>Tony Mitton is the author of the bestselling <i>Amazing Machines </i>picture books. A popular children's author, his poetry book <i>The Red and White Spotted Handkerchief</i> was the winner of the 2000 Smarties Prize in the U.K. He has written a number of picture books including <i>Bumpus Jumpus Dinosaurumpus</i> and <i>Down By the Cool of the Pool</i>. His other titles include collections of poetry for older children.<br><br>Ant Parker is the illustrator of the bestselling <i>Amazing Machines </i>picture books. He studied drawing and printing at the Bath Academy of Art in England and has taught papermaking, printing, and bookbinding workshops for children.
