Winn is Professor and Director of the Shidler Center for Law, Commerce & Technology at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, USA, where she teaches commercial, comparative and technology law courses. She is a member of the American Law Institute and a Visiting Fellow of the University of Melbourne School of Law. Her research focuses on electronic commerce law issues in the US, EU and the People's Republic of China.
