Elece Kunangura McKnight was born to Mr. and Mrs.Kunangura in 1965, Zimbabwe.¿ She wasthe fourth daughter of six children.¿Her younger sister and her brother died at a young age, and when Elecewas six her mother passed away.¿ Withthe father working, the family had to be split and Elece went to live atdifferent relatives' homes.¿ Her fatherremarried, and in 1975 he reunited the family.Elecegraduated from Chibewe Secondary School in 1983.¿ She had spent her youth in tearful prayer and deep reflectionabout the trouble-filled world.¿ She haddreams of becoming a missionary or a minister.¿In June 1984, Elece was attempting suicide.¿ Her life was turned around when she met and joined theUnification Movement.¿ She was blessedin Marriage to an American Robin McKnight in 1989.¿ Since then they are blessed with four daughters: Justice,Victorian, Cherish, and Su Hyun.
