Dr. Mark J.Minelli, PhD, MA, MPA'is professor of public health at Central Michigan University and authority in the areas of addictions, personal growth, and drugs and the athlete. He has completed extensive research and field work concerning alcohol and other drug prevention programs and performance enhancing drugs. He is the author of nine books/educational manuals, more than 40 professional journal and magazine articles, book chapters, and has presented at many national, state and regional conferences.' His books have achieved national and international sales. Through his active research agenda he has been a guest of national radio talk shows. Under his direction Central Michigan University was named a premier national university substance abuse prevention program. He has mentored many students in the completion of their thesis and doctoral dissertations of which some have led to professional journal publications. Dr. Minelli was recently named Faculty of the Year Award at Capella University 2020 were he is an adjunct professor.
