About the Author Ever since the age of 17, when Darwin Porter sold his first article on Puerto Rico to a travel magazine, he has been visiting and writing about the island. A bureau chief of the Miami Herald at the age of 21, Porter has traveled frequently and extensively throughout Puerto Rico and the rest of the Caribbean. His coauthor is Danforth Prince, formerly of the Paris bureau of the New York Times. Together, they share their secrets and discoveries of travel to Puerto Rico with you.
