“So, why does the Catholic Church say...” As a recent Catholic convert (or a lifelong Catholic), you may hear this quite a bit. To those outside the Catholic faith, you are a spokesperson for the Church. The purpose of this book is to help Catholics answer frequently asked questions and help navigate non-Catholics through misconceptions of the faith. This Q&A book focuses on the questions that converts encounter from baffled and angry friends and family regarding their conversion decision and addresses confusion, exaggerations, and differences in religious culture to help inform, calm, and connect. These same questions often challenge Catholics who grew up in their faith—this book offers the questions they seek too.
