This work presents a method of student evaluation allows therapists and students to evaluate fieldwork experience in a variety of settings, and provides faculty members with a cumulative record of student competency acquisitions for entry into practice. Student assessment is based on seven competency areas, including practice knowledge, clinical reasoning, professional development, and communication. The manual comes with two 16-page evaluation forms. There is no subject index. The CBFE is a tool designed for fieldwork educators and faculty who set up fieldwork courses and decide methods of evaluation in Fieldwork I and II. This excellent evaluation allows faculty to evaluate performance in a variety of fieldwork settings and provides a cumulative record of student competency acquisitions to ensure competency for entry to practice. The CBFE defines seven competencies: practice knowledge, clinical reasoning, facilitating change, professional interactions, communication, professional development, and performance management. The package contains a manual and two 17-page evaluation forms.
