Laid-in is a copy of his personal Christmas newsletter with salutation, corrections and signature in his hand. Also laid-in are two reviews: one by Les Hainworth, photocopied from an unidentified local paper and the other type-written by an unidentified writer, is for the Toronto Globe & Mail, dated Sept.4, 1965. Like new, appears unread, unclipped and not remaindered. Lightly bumped & rubbed to top corners of front & rear boards, rear board is very slightly bowed at the top front edge, one small stain to each of front edge & top edge, interior is crisp, clean and solid. Unclipped dustjacket has a short tear to the tail of the spine, tiny nick to the bottom edge of the rear panel, tiny puncture (1/4") to the spine, light crease to the top edge of the rear panel, moderate smudging & shelfwear to show, more so to the rear panel.
