There are two kinds of deviant acts - those that are contrary to norms or expectations by a reference group and those that provoke reaction leading to labelling of the individual as deviant. Applying certain views to the deviant nurses described in this book, this study concludes that deviance among nurses follows the same sociological patterns visible in all deviants.
