Surgical Oncology, Volume 14, Issue 149 -- "This question and answer style review book is designed to complement DeVita, Hellamn and Rosenberg?s authoritative textbook Cancer: Principles and Practice of Oncology, Seventh Edition. Its 39 chapters, by and large, parallel those found in the textbook and contain over 900 multiple-choice questions covering aspects of medical oncology, clinical oncology, surgical oncology and haematology/oncology. Many of the questions are case-orientated and based on realistic clinical scenarios. The authors? aim in writing this book was to emphasise key points from the textbook and to provide a teaching and revision aid for both oncology trainees and practicing oncologists. I think that it achieves this goal. Up to now, there has been a relative dearth of multiple choice question books focusing on oncology and this review book will be a welcome addition for any oncology trainees preparing to sit their final examinations."
