Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

New York Times best-selling author Mark Waid has worked for every major company in the comics industry, having penned runs of Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Ka-Zar and Fantastic Four. His other works of note include his collaboration with painter Alex Ross, Kingdom Come, which earned an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series; his long run on DC's Flash; and his revamp of the Man of Steel's origin in Superman: Birthright. Waid writes the series Insufferable for his digital-comics website, Thrillbent, and is enjoying the greatest outpouring of critical acclaim he's ever received with the Eisner Award-winning Daredevil.

After achieving industry acclaim for DC's award-winning "Manhunter" feature in Detective Comics, Walter Simonson moved to Marvel and a revered run scripting and penciling Thor, to whose cast he introduced multiple characters and concepts, from both myth and outer space.
