Ed Harris began his career in the broadcast and entertainment industry in 1969 as a film researcher on Granada Television's Cinema and finished it in 2000 as a BBC 'suit'. After taking an MA in Local Studies at Kingston University in 2001 he became an Honorary Research Fellow and is now a full-time writer and researcher. He lives near Isleworth in Whitton, Twickenham.

Gene Hackman has always had a yearning to write. Growing up in Danville, Illinois, he spent time at his grandfather s small newspaper office and accompanied his uncle, a reporter, on assignments. After service in the Marines, Gene began his acting career in the theater, then went on to star in such movies as Bonnie and Clyde, The French Connection, The Conversation, and Unforgiven. He is the winner of two Academy Awards(r).

A 30-year teaching veteran, JUDY DAVIS has spent the past ten years teaching fifth and sixth grade at The Manhattan New School. She conducts workshops and summer institutes throughout the United States and Canada for elementary and middle school teachers on all aspects of literacy instruction. Her classroom is a model site for staff development for teachers in New York Citys School District #2 and other areas.
