Wehmeyer is Research Associate Professor and Director, Beach Center on Families and Disability, University of Kansas. He is the coauthor, with Martin Agran and Carolyn Hughes, of Teaching Self-Determination to Students with Disabilities: Basic Skills for Successful Transition.
