Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Roff Smith is a New Hampshire native who moved to Australia in 1982. He became a reporter for the Sydney Morning Herald and the Melbourne Sunday Age, and ultimately an award-winning senior correspondent for Time magazine, a position he resigned to undertake the trek chronicled in his first book, Cold Beer and Crocodiles (National Geographic Adventure Press). He is the author of Australia: Journey Through a Timeless Land as well as a National Geographic Traveler guide to his adopted country.
