Michelle P. Brown is a curator of Western Manuscripts in the British Library and author of several books, including A Guide to Western Historical Scripts and The Book of Cerne.


Michelle Brown is Curator of Illuminated Manuscripts at The British Library. Her previous publications include The Book of Cerne (UTP 1996), and The Historical Source Book for Scribes (with Patricia Lovett, UTP 1999).

Michelle P. Brown has taught Palaeography and History at the University of London and The British Library.
