Christian had just scored a touchdown and been voted the MVP of his football team when his mom broke bad news to him. Gramps had died. Gramps, his best friend, the one who had always listened, and the person who had told Christian stories of a better city that they could both live in some day in a way that Christian could understand and get excited about.

After that day, it took Christian months to open up the book his Gramps had given him. But when he did, he read more stories of the Celestial City and of the King who ruled there. After a long talk with a man named Evangelist, Christian was ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime towards the City that he had heard so much about. He left behind bad stuff the bullies in his neighborhood and good stuff like football. Turns out, his trip didn't need bullies to be difficult, and it didn't need football to become the best thing Christian had ever done. Follow his progress toward his destination and find out why!
