What should you as a Christian be thinking, saying, and doing? The epistle of James outlines God's answers to those questions. James provides you with guidelines for a life that is consistent with your beliefs -- consistent with the way God wants you to live. It is as relevant today as the day it was written. In a readable, helpful style, Vernon Doerksen explores the practical implications of the great themes of James: working faith, the tongue and a Christian's speech, and the responsibility of Christian teachers.

Summer is finally here! The girls of the Double Dutch Club are looking forward to three months of fun jumping Double Dutch with each other.

But plans change when Rachel’s parents let her know she’ll be spending the summer in Chicago visiting her cousin Ronnie. Rachel doesn’t like the idea of leaving her friends behind or spending time with someone she barely knows. After fighting with Ronnie soon after they are introduced, Rachel is faced with what might be the most disappointing summer of her life.

As the Double Dutch adventures continue, Rachel quickly learns that God’s promises will always remain true. At the end of every rain storm, He will always bring both a promise and a rainbow.
