It s time to get your life back.

Perhaps you still remember the moment the time of day, the look in the other person s eye when you were hurt. When your hopes and dreams were damaged by someone you trusted. And since then your life has been put on hold, sabotaged by harbored resentment, dreams of revenge, or perhaps indifference and numbness.

Or it may be just the stuff of every day life and relationships that has left you with a knot in your stomach and a dull ache in your heart.

There are no magic words or secret formulas for forgiveness. But there are biblical principles that can help you break free from bitterness and pain. InChoosing Forgiveness, celebrated teacher Nancy Leigh DeMoss delves into God s word to uncover the promises and expose the myths of forgiveness. Discover specific strategies for putting God s grace and mercy into practice forgiving others as God has forgiven you.

No one says it will be easy. But it could save your life.

Break free. Choose forgiveness.

Aus dem Klappentext

I know just enough about computers, as they say, to be dangerous. But one thing I ve learned the hard way is the meaning of that little button that s spelled D-E-L. That s right. The delete key. (I m guessing you know about that one yourself.)

Like you, I can think of times when I was working away at something on my computer and accidentally pressed the delete button, only to watch all my hard work vanish into thin air, leaving behind nothing but a blank screen of forgotten words. I wish the delete key was so easy to press in real life.

In many ways, what happens when we trash a computer document is a picture of what takes place when we truly forgive someone who has wronged us. We clear their record. We wipe out their debt. Isn t that the way God has forgiven us? All of our sin, deleted. Forever. All because of Christ s death on the cross in our place. Debt canceled.
