STEPHEN MITCHELL was born in Brooklyn, studied at Amherst, the Sorbonne, and Yale, and spent seven years in Zen training. His many books include the award-winning The Wishing Bone and Other Poems.

Some small neat stamps in front matter. Worst flaw is magic markered out library stamps on outside top & bottom page edges. The unclipped DJ is also Fine, protected under library mylar, which is completely clear & bright, but affixed to book at flaps, so we are not going to try & remove it. A lovely copy!
