The other inscription is, "To Bill, / Best wishes, / ? " I cannot read the signature. Later in the book, Al Attles signed his name next to photograph of him. The book includes: an Appendix, "The NBA's Black Pioneers, 1950-1965"; Notes (sources); and an Index. It has six pages of black & whtie photographs. xvii + 276 numbered pages + photographs. The book and the dust jacket have little, if any, wear. Full cloth binding. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright. Priced dust jacket ($29.95).
