Stephen Palmer is Director of the Centre for Stress Management in London, and is an Honorary Visiting Lecturer in Psychology at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He is editor of Counselling Psychology Review, co-editor of The Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapist and former editor of Counselling. He has written over 80 articles and a number of books and training manuals on counselling and stress management. He is also the editor of three book series.
Sheila Dainow is a counsellor, trainer and therapeutic massage practitioner. She has written a number of articles and books, the most recent being How to Survive Your Teenager (1991) and The Time of Your Life (1994). She is a former editor of Counselling.
Pat Milner is a recent features editor of Counselling. She trained on the first counselling course at Reading University and later as a Fulbright Scholar at SUNY, Buffalo. She was Founder Chair of the Association for Student Counselling, the oldest BAC Division, and, prior to her recent retirement, worked at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
