"Who died when and how" could serve as a brief yet comprehensive review of this morbidly entertaining book. Morrow lists the death dates (chronologically arranged from January to December) of both famous and ordinary people. From Russian dictator Khrushchev, who died in his sleep, to the unidentified woman who jumped to her death from a flagpole in Shea Stadium in 1989, the victims of both natural and bizarre endings get their full stories told here, with last words and epitaphs given when available. The absence of an index of personal names makes the book unsuitable for reference work, but it will definitely attract browsers every grim day of the year.
