Inhaltsangabe

With the aging of Holocaust survivors, it is increasingly vital that references dealing with this massively important event be made available. The attempted extermination of the Jewish race - as well as the murder of millions of other victims the Nazis deemed "inferior" - must not be forgotten.
The A to Z of the Holocaust focuses on the unprecedented nature of the German assault on the Jews. It provides readers with the facts of the Holocaust, emphasizing the central role Jews played in the Nazi genocide. The introductory essay presents a historical overview of the Holocaust and is followed by individual entries on the subject and an extensive bibliography. This book is an easy-to-use reference for history scholars, students, and general readers.
