This volume contains the proceedings for the second annual Maple Summer Workshop and Symposium (MSWS '93) held at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, on June 28-30, 1993. The goal of this international conference was to encourage innovative applications of the Maple V mathematical computation system. Thomas Lee is chief technologist at the United Kingdom IT training and consulting company QA; he is also the Windows Editor for ESM magazine. He has a BS in Computer Problem Solving, is a Fellow of the British Computer Society as well as a MCSE, MCT, and MVP.
