There is a great demand for interior shots; hotels and restaurants need to sell their images in brochures, interior designers need to sell the layman a lifestyle, companies worldwide need to sell furniture, appliances, fabrics and so on.
All of these depend on an interior to feature in some way, whether housing the product in question, or as the star of the shot itself.
