Every Monday morning Mr. Peters and his little dog, Joey, put on their matching scarves and coats and walk around the neighborhood. They say hello to the same folks, stop at the same church, and eat breakfast at the same time. And every weekday morning is just like Monday morning.

But one cold morning, everything changes. And when Mr. Peters gives up not only his schedule but also something he loves, no one in the neighborhood will be the same.
