Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Daniel Schugurensky is Professor and Head of the Justice and Social Inquiry Unit at Arizona State University, USA, where he holds a joint appointment in the School of Public Affairs and the School of Social Transformation. His recent publications include Volunteer Work, Informal Learning and Social Action (edited, 2013) and Learning Citizenship by Practicing Democracy (edited, 2010).

Richard Bailey is a writer and researcher in education and sport. A former teacher in both primary and secondary schools and a teacher trainer, he has been Professor at a number of leading Universities in the UK. He now lives and works in Germany, where he is Manager of Sport and Health at the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education.
