Inhaltsangabe

Unlike general prayer books, Fire in the Soul contains specific prayers centered around the tasks of aging and the three stages of the aging process. The collection includes prayers from Morgan’s own experience and classic prayers by persons such as John Calvin, Augustine, Ignatius, John Donne, and Teresa of Avila. Inspirational passages from Scripture are interspersed throughout the book.

A valuable spiritual guide for older persons, Fire in the Soul can also be used by midlifers as they approach their later years; and by clergy, social workers, and other professions who work with older adults. (large print book) Upper Room.
