It is no longer enough for equestrian students to be adept solely with grooming tools and saddle soap - communications skills in the form of presentation of lecturettes are now an important part of exam syllabuses. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Maxine Cave trained with Wellington Riding Ltd and, after gaining her BHSSM + T, became their Director of Studies. She is now a freelance instructor. She has been a BHS examiner for 10 years and is currently a chief examiner for stages I and II, and a senior examiner for stages III and IV, PTT and Intermediate Teaching. Her special interests are horse breeding and Arab racing.
