These include the following: nomina, cognomina, emperors, consuls and other evidences of date, civil officials of the Empire, military affairs (arranged by units and by offices, and equipment), religion (deities, offerings, buildings, priests, collegia charms and so on); citizen tribes; geographical (names of people and places, various aspects of Hadrian's and the Antonine Walls); local government and tribal systems; civic affairs (personal status, collegia, trades and so on); carmina; unusual forms of letters and of numbers, and salutations; grammatical aspects (divergent spellings and forms of words, and words used in abnormal senses); inscriptions partly or wholly uninterpreted; and finally, a miscellaneous group of indexes.
