Cream boards are clean and nice with slight bump lower corner front, and a tad of sunning on the blue/green cloth spine. Interior is clean. Author and playwright Jane Bowles was in a platonic marriage with gay writer Paul Bowles, who wrote a novel based on their life together. Jane Bowles had many lesbian relationships outside of her marriage. While her body of work is small, she is a greatly admired writer.
