Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Dr. Raymond Starr, Professor Emeritus of History of San Diego State University, has written San Diego: A Pictorial History (1985), San Diego State University: A History in Word and Image (1995) and numerous articles and reviews on the region. Since 1980 he has been a frequent trustee (and twice chair) of the Cabrillo National Monument Foundation.

Richard Cummins is an internationally published photographer and writer. An Irishman by birth, he and his wife emigrated to Southern California in 1989 after serving ten years in the Irish Lighthouse Service. Now a U.S. citizen, he is a self-taught photographer who is represented by major stock agencies in the United States, Europe, and Australia.
