For each lesson, there is a grammar review followed by a set of exercises. The exercises include fill-in-the-blanks, word-order, question and answer, sentence completion, structural changes and translation. This new revised edition contains two extensive appendices, an English-Chinese-pinyin index and a Chinese-pinyin-English index, that refer to the material covered in this workbook as well as to corresponding lessons in Practical Chinese Reader Book 2.
