Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

CARYN M. KING is an Associate Professor at Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she teacher courses in language arts and reading and conducts research in content area literacy. Before receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, she taught middle school language arts for several years. A teacher, consultant, and researcher, she has written articles bridging theory with practice.PEG SUDOL received her M.Ed. from Grand Valley State University and currently teacher fifth grade at Ironwood Elementary School in Tucson, Arizona. During her 23-year career she has taught most elementary grades, staff development classes, and teacher education courses. Her research interests include reading and writing pedagogy, reflective practice, and staff development, and she has co-authored several articles for educational journals.
