Colorful pictorial trade wraps. 271pp. I have not read this book and there are no summaries of it printed on the covers. It appears to be the memoirs of a military bandsman from Canada who serves as a musician for his outfit in WWII. Page 16: "It all began in 1936 when I joined the famous band of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) in Winnipeg." And from the copyright page: "Although based on fact, and the reminiscences of the author, the characters in this book are fictional." Several creases to the upper front corner of the front cover.
