Section 2: External design data replaces the former section A2: Weather and solar data. Section 3: Thermal properties of building structures. This section is cited in Part L of the Building Regulations. It has been revised and expanded to include more detailed calculation procedures dealing with various types of window frames and glazing. Section 4: Air infiltration and natural ventilation. Section 5: Thermal response and plant sizing brings together subject areas from former separate guide sections A5, A8 and A9. Section 6: Internal heat gains replaces section A7 of the fifth edition. Section 7: Moisture transfer and condensation replaces section A10 from the fifth edition. Includes a flopy disc.
