Also signed from Roy Fuller to Joan and signed by Rickword to her: "I'm very happy to endorse this, which I hardly expected to issue in such handsome shape when it was adumbrated one evening as we were chatting round your fire. Edgell." Original publisher's light orange cloth with title at spine on white spine label. They were 362 copies of which 75 were specially bound this being number two and signed by Rickword. It was printed on Abbey Mills cream antique laid paper by the Daedalus Press. Also loosely inserted two types pages listing his selected poems and with ticks against the ones to be used in this book with some brief typed notes about them. Joan Stevens was an important bookseller and publisher based in London and latterly in Suffolk. Fine in clean bright white and red and black dust wrapper with portrait of Rickword by Nina Hamnett occasional slight nicks to side of jacket otherwise very good or better. Signedes.
