One of the most important decision facing governments in developing countries is that of making the right technological choice, so that existing resources - labour, land, capital and skills are best combined to provide a stable base for future economic growth. This bibliography provides information on the economic aspects of intermediate technologies / appropriate technologies for developing countries. The information has been divided into six sections. The first four covering technologies related to the basic human needs of food; shelter; manufactured goods such as clothing, footwear and household items; and infrastructural goods such as power sources, water supplies, health services, roads and transportations. The last two sections contain a selection of technical publications and bibliographies.
