The text/workbook combination gives students both the theory and practice they need to understand this complex topic. The book features the personalized system of instruction (PSI) approach. On adoption of the materials, the teacher may request the instructor's manual and text packet. These aids are free, and have teaching guidelines and a set of tests for each of the chapters (complete with answer keys).
