By its nature the Bible is a supernatural book and it shouldn’t be surprising that ghosts and spirits are frequent subjects in it and related works as well as strange curses The fact that warnings are given in the pages of Scripture about dealing with spirits in itself reveals that these beings are considered real. A number of warrior ghosts are found in this book, too, including those who helped inspire the crusaders during their battles. Mary, the mother of Jesus, has frequently been seen in ghostly form which are different from the religious visions of her. You may be surprised at how many ghosts, spirits and haunted places there are in both the Old and the New Testament as well as in many of the historical locations in Christendom and other religions.
