Virginia A. Jones, CRM, is the records manager for the City of Newport News, Virginia, Department of Public Utilities, and serves as principal of VAJones Associates, a consulting firm. The author of "Microfilm Technology and Procedures" and a contributing author to "The Information Manager's Toolkit," her articles appear regularly in national trade and professional publications. Ms. Jones, who earned the certified records manager certification from the Institute of Certified Records Managers, also frequently speaks at professional conferences and meetings.

Kris E. Keyes is the administrative services manager for the City of Newport News, Virginia, Department of Public Utilities, where he writes extensively on a variety of topics. His responsibilities include human resources management and development, organization development, and emergency management planning. Mr. Keyes earned a master of public administration degree, graduated from the Virginia Peninsula Leadership Institute, and earned the certified professional certification from the International Personnel Management Association.
