The reviews provide lively plot synopses with delightfully articulate (and often comical) film analyses, the details of their production, extensive cast and credits lists, a handy zero-to-five star quality rating system, and the MPAA morality ratings. Not to be confused with the hardcover annual supplements to the Motion Picture Guide , which covers more films worldwide, the present work is smaller, includes mostly U.S. films, and omits documentaries, shorts, and concert films.
