Softcover. Zustand: Very good. No jacket. First printing, inscribed by Davidson to artist Richard Diebenkorn on the first page. Also includes a second volume of Davidson's manuscript of the book that he sent to Diebenkorn, with a typed and signed letter, persuading him to allow one of his paintings to grace the cover of his book, which apparently worked as Diebenkorn's painting "Ocean Park #112" graces the cover. The manuscript has handwritten corrections by Davidson, and he apologizes in his letter since he didn't have another copy at the time. there is a small bar code label on the last page from the Richard Diebenkorn Foundation.
