Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Lt. Commander John Lansdown was born in Surrey in 1924 and entered the Royal Navy in 1943. He was appointed Air Engineering Officer of 821 Naval Air Squadron, with whom he served during the Korean War aboard HMS Glory between September 1952 and May 1953. Later appointments including a posting at RN Arbroath and Air Engineering Officer of the Naval Air Radio Installation Service. After leaving the Royal Navy in 1960 he spent eleven years in industry, and in 1971 he joined the staff of the Cheltenham Ladies College.
