This is a book I will be highly recommending to all dog lovers. It contains kind,compassionate and practical information and advise,written in a really accessible way. As a behaviourist, it helped me cement my beliefs and views ( force free, kind and fun ways to have a mutually rewarding and happy relationship with dogs) . For some trainers this approach is still new and to some a little scary but to most caring dog owners it should come as a great relief that they don't need to control their dogs. We just need to learn to listen,watch and understand . If you are finding what you're doing doesn't work or you feel uncomfortable with advise or methods you have been given or shown, then read this book.
