Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Robert Pearce Wilkins of Lexington, SC was born in 1933. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina (USC) in 1954 and his LL.M. from Georgetown Unversity Law School in 1957. A practicing lawyer most of his life he is the author of Drafting Wills and Trust Agreement, a four-volume work and the software for it, which has a national distribution. He served as chairman of the Law Practice Management Section of the American Bar Association and was the founding editor of Legal Economics, the Section's magazine. He was also the founding editor of two other legal magazines. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the American College of Tax Counsel and the College of Law Practice Management and was listed in Best Lawyers in America. He was the founding editor of five nationally distributed legal newsletters, including The Lawyer's PC.

Wilkins served as a member and chairman of his district school board and as a member and chairman of Riverbanks Zoo (rated as one of the 10 best zoos in the United States) He is the editor and founder of Sandlapper, the Magazine of South Carolina. He has received the platinum Compleat Lawyer award from the USC Law School and the Diamond Circle award from the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

He has been married to his wife, Rose Truesdale sine 1956 and they have three children and seven grandchildren.
