After having spent a lifetime fly fishing for trout, studying the fish and the waters, any erudite, thoughtful angler would have to learn something. Connett certainly did and writes about it here. Very insightful information. The author was the founder, editor and publisher of The Derrydale Press, the premier American publisher of sporting books in the twentieth century.
All of the few remaining copies have been signed by Ernest Schweibert.
