Actually, they hadn't figured on much of anything except intimidating, posturing, and collecting those easy bucks.You will delight in the antics, the excitement, the successes and failures, and especially the determinations, which drive an array of strong characters; along with descriptive writing that puts you right in the middle of the action at the tables and with the gang who call themselves The Lords of the Swords.Readers who have never entered a casino will not only enjoy The Sultan, but will come to feel the excitement and have a better understanding of why gambling has proliferated so, not only throughout America, but in most other countries.

Lee Rudolph was graduated from the University of Baltimore with a degree in Marketing. He was discharged from the US Army in 1963. After a 25 year career as a Managing General Agent selling his own specialty insurance program, he sold his company, Matterhorn Bank Programs and retired to study gambling and to write.
