Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Sue-Ann was born to hard working parents, Esther and Lawrence Corrigan, and grew up in the Milwaukee area with three brothers and one sister. She learned from early on how to make home-style foods for the family table and to produce the bakery needed to help feed the family of seven.

In "Every 1 A Winner"! Blue Ribbon recipes, author Sue-Ann K. Dondlinger, a Richfield Homemaker, shares her experiences and advice for the benefit of the beginner as well as the experienced baker. Over 75 Blue-Ribbon winning recipes are featured in this collection and each has been tested and refined for Blue-Ribbon results. The easy to read preparation instructions are written in the author's friendly style and she uses basic, common ingredients for her recipes.

Sue-Ann has picked up techniques and tips from seminars on baking, food preperation, microwave cooking and cake decorating. When she was a child, she learned basic cooking and baking skills from her mother and this hands-on experience and years of practice provided the foundation which enabled her to move from the family kitchen to winning Blue Ribbons at Fair competition.

In her book, Dondlinger shares the heart-warming stories of her earliest endeavors and tips and hits that have made her recipes award-winning. Each section of her book incorporates this practical advice for home baking or competition. Fair judging has brought her the greatest challenge and sense of personal achievement. It's something she'd like to share. She feels this is a great reference book--"user friendly" -- especially for those entering County and State Fair food competition.

Her greatest supporter and best friend is her husband, John, who is a Steamfitter by trade. They have been married 32 years and John's been the chief taste-tester and right-hand man, always there to help!

John & Sue-Ann have two children, 3 grandchildren and 2 grandbabies-to-be!! Their son, Daniel is married to Denise and they have two children, John 5 1/2 years and Katherine (Katie) who is 2 1/2 years old. They are expecting their third child in November. They make their home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Their daughter, Theresa, is married to Chris Reuss and with their 5 3/4 year old daughter, Hannah, they live in Appleton, WI. They are expecting their second child in November.

Sue-Ann doesn't seem to tire from baking for friends and family gatherings but she expecially enjoys making cookies for her grandchildren!

With Book signings and other promotions, Sue-Ann is busy. She sings with the Hartford community chorus, expecially the Christmas concert and bakes many pounds of Christmas cookies for family and friends. She also works part time in a local Floral & Gift shop.
