Reba Haley completed my Associate of Arts degree at Wayne County Community College and transferred to Wayne State University in Detroit. Years later, she transferred to the University of North Carolina Charlotte where she completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She also obtained a Master of Arts degree in psychology from St Thomas University, Master of Science degree in addiction counseling from Grand Canyon University and doctorate from St Thomas University in Christian Counseling. She completed Sarasota Christian Counseling Academy and became an ordained minister and licensed Christian pastoral and temperament counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association. She has extensive study in marriage and family therapy and is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Masters Addiction Professional in Florida. Dr. Reba Haley has worked in lower, middle and upper management in the medical, real estate, hospitality, and education industries and for the local and state governments and public and private schools. In Detroit, she worked with the former Mayor Coleman Young and the first female President of the Detroit City Council Maryann Mahaffey to improve the City. In Detroit she opened a shelter and childcare center for homeless women and children. In the 90’s she relocated to Tampa and worked with ministers and community leaders and the former Mayor, Dick Greco on the city’s drugs, mental health and homeless issues. She is a Florida Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Instructor license and owns a real estate company. She founded Insight Consulting International and president of New Beginning Addiction and Wellness Center a 501(c) 3 tax exempted organization to provide drug and alcohol treatment to youth and adults. She is an American businesswoman, investor, speaker, educator, consultant, author, former radio personality, therapist, life coach, mentor, and ordained minister. She is held by my peers as a communication expert and people find their purpose to make a difference in their communities. She is an inspiring woman of faith that is committed to bringing equality between men and women leaders. She provides training, counseling and coaching to motivate women to open businesses, run for political office or work with the PTA, but overall make a positive difference in their communities.
